I watched the sunset yesterday, and the Elton John song, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" came to mind.
It felt like darkness and coldness was coming into my life soon, and I wasn't ready for it.
The beauty I enjoyed for that moment was being swallowed up by the dread of the long lonely night....
I feel sad.
Because losing everything is like the sun going down on me...
These cuts I have, they need love to help them heal.
Taken from my deck in my backyard.
