This is for dear friend

She wanted a more serious portrait, no horns, animal ears, or dragon scales.. But don't let that fool you into thinking she isn't crazy!

So, we agreed to do a black and white pencil portrait EXCEPT that I would make her eyes blue.
Katja has incredibly blue eyes. Actually, of my 50 some Prismacolor Premier pencils,

I could not find any that were quite blue enough...but this is my feeble attempt!

yeah her eyes are SO blue. I was talking on Skype with her last night, and they are really incredible. I thought it would be a shame to not make them blue.
