LeGrandzilla Lair Part 2

Description

Excerpt from the "Elusive LeGrandzilla Field Guide". In this installment we see another rare photo from deep inside the legrandzilla's lair. This is the place where the legrandzilla produces its "babies" as a result of being "in paint". Some of these offspring are visible in the photo, some are not fully hatched, but if you look closely on the table, you will see the latest of its offspring very nearly at full term. (see legrandzilla offspring and other awesome accomplishments pages 112-793).
You may also notice how the legrandzilla will take a box to produce a makeshift paint booth for air brushing. Many of its tools of the trade are also visible in disarray upon the table. The legrandzilla here really needs to get it together...:(
Back to airbrushing, this is a ritual which legrandzillas in paint perform in its most intense, climatic state. The legrandzilla prepares the area, clearing all offspring and treasured items from the overspray area. Then the legrandzilla prepares water, paint and the compressor, and gingerly removes the sacred airbrush from its elegant case. It then hooks up the air hose, plugs in the compressor, and begins to try to spray water through the airbrush. Now, part of this ritual, that must be essential due to the fact that it happens so consistantly, it that the airbrush will not spray water. Even though the legrandzilla took much care in cleaning the airbrush when he finished the previous time. When the legrandzilla sees the airbrush will not even function with water, much less paint, which is of a higher viscosity, the legrandzilla emits a series of either mournful or angry cries, which are best not documented here, as this is a family friendly field guide. Then the legrandzilla takes apart and re-cleans the airbrush and tries water again. Satisfied with the amount of water the airbrush can spray now, the legrandzilla begins to mix small amounts of paint in a miniscule cup that attaches to the airbrush, using a toothpick to stir. After much hit and miss, getting the color and viscosity just right , the legrandzilla begins to paint. Periodically, the great beast changes colors slightly, grunting and saying, "hmmm" as he goes. If things are going well, the legrandzilla may sing along with some of the tunes he is listening to over the sound of the compressor. This may cause other residents of the legrandzilla habitat a measure of distress, especially if the legrandzilla is really "getting down wit da sound." But, more often than not, this is interupted by the airbrush malfunctioning again. The original recleaning step is performed again, and this process is repeated until the legrandzilla cleans the airbrush one last time, puts it away, and picks up its traditional brushes, vowing to never use the airbrush again. Until the next urge to paint, and the above ritual is repeated as though the vow was never made. Legrandzillas dont lie, but this does not include vows regarding airbrushes, as airbrushes are actually the legrandzillas mortal enemy, and all is fair in war. Why the legrandzilla allows such an enemy to dwell in its very lair, is difficult to even speculate. The legrandzilla is a strange and enigmatic creature indeed..
