Murakami Kong VS Devilfish by Legrandzilla Murakami Kong VS Devilfish by Legrandzilla
Here is a model kit by Murakami I just finished of the 62 Kong from Godzilla VS King Kong. It was really hard to build and paint, especially paint because of all the intertwining of dry fur and slimy tentacles. I made 4 little natives and some pots full of Soma berry juice, which is what the monsters are competing for.. Seems like a while since I posted a Kaiju model. The base I sculpted out of foam with a hot knife.

For some odd reason, the TOHO Kong is my favorite. He has that weird old school charm to him, and you did a GREAT job recreating him and making him look just as good as the one from the movie!

I loved this movie so much since I was little. Although I think they should of fired the guy who did the face of kong, not to offend anyone but he always looked like "Momma Kong" drank too much during pregnancy.

haha! I always thought it look like an old man had his face melting in a fire but it was put out with a rake! Looked SO bad!!^^ I think this is an almost ok sculpt of it, better than the actual suit face.

with the base about 14 inches tall. The people are only about 3/8 inch tall, and I sculpted little skirts and head dresses for them.

Looks amazing. Really captured the hideous complexion that the 62 Toho kong had. I love the added touch of the people and the drunk pots of juice that Kong likes to get hammered on.
