Description

Finally finished this diorama! The Kong is a model I built and painted by Murakami, but I also resculpted the hands and one arm so he could hold the serpent. I sculpted the serpent with Aves Apoxie clay. I made the hovercraft by modifying a hot wheels car, and I made the base from scratch.
Kong seems like he fell in love with the serpent, based on his expression.^^
I think I will make a youtube video today to show it better.

Here is the video!

King Kong Escapes is the second Kong film made by Toho Studios. This model recreates Kong's battle with the sea serpent that he fought after defeating Gorosaurus (the dinosaur he battled in the film). I give the vision rating 4.5 stars. Reasons being that the design is great and captures the image of Kong really well. In terms of originality, I give it 3.5 stars. Reasons being that its' a model that he put together and the characters aren't his own. Technique is awarded 5 stars. Legrandzilla really took his time on this and it clearly shows. In terms of Impact, I'll have to say 4.5 stars. I previously did a critique on Legrandzilla's Godzilla model and I'm amazed that he did a scene from a lesser-known movie. Keep up the good work, Legrandzilla.
